Welcome to the Ferris State University Mary Feindt Chapter of Lambda Sigma Website. Lambda Sigma was founded on April 28, 1978 at Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana.
The objectives of Lambda Sigma are:
1. To recognize and encourage high scholastic achievement.
2. To promote knowledge and acceptance of the Land Surveying profession.
3. To recognize the fundamental characteristics of the successful Land Surveyor and to aid in the development of these characteristics.
4. To support and enhance professional and student Land Surveying organizations in their growth.
5. To encourage understanding and cooperation between Land Surveying and other professions.
