Objective:
To pursue a career in Land Surveying, Geographic Information Systems and
mapping.
Experience:
Survey Technician, Mulder and Associates, 2001-2002. Assisted the crew chief in establishing property lines for parcels
of various sizes. Responsible for researching GLO corners in
Survey Crew Chief, Williams & Works, 1998-2001. Supervised
a digital mapping crew for approximately 100 sites ranging in size from .5
acres to 3 acres. Prepared ACAD drawings for another
50 sites of the same size in accordance to the clients mapping standards.
Responsible for researching property in various counties in
the State of
Senior ACAD Technician, Earth Tech, 1995-1998. Prepared ACAD
drawings for over 300 sites ranging in size from .5 acres to 3 acres. Assisted licensed surveyor in writing legal descriptions for
property boundaries, ingress & egress easements, and utility easements.
Developed ACAD standards and templates for client’s needs.
Responsible for training of junior ACAD technicians. Assisted the G.P.S. manager in the recovery and location of section
corners including centers for 2 townships per year using G.P.S. equipment.
Survey Instrument Person, Earth Tech, 1992-1995. Collected topography data
used for sanitary sewer and watermain design of many
cities and towns. These cities and towns covered such states as
Survey Rodman, Earth Tech, 1990-1992. Responsible for the
care and calibration of all equipment. Assisted the
crew chief in establishing horizontal and vertical control for various jobs.
Assisted the crew chief in mapping and construction staking
jobs.

1999-2003 Studying for a Bachelor of Science degree, Department of Surveying Engineering
, College of Technology, Ferris State University.
